There are number of websites and blogs that provide tons of theoretical knowledge regarding these spiritual subjects. Of course there are some authentic books published by eminent authors who are really truth seekers and wrote from their experience. In fact TRUTH can be realized by different seekers from different meditations or spiritual methods. Every realized soul sees/ experiences the Ultimate Truth from various angles, and present it in their own way to the earnest seekers.
We are all at different levels/ stages of evolution with variations due to our past lives vasanas of animal instincts, present life human values and dormant inherent Divine qualities. In schools, colleges, universities, professional courses there are number of subjects, but if the student chooses the subject which he likes naturally or for which he has an inherent attraction then he progresses with spontaneous ease.
The shat chakras are the most broadly categorized SEVEN stages of spiritual evolution. If we analyze every aspirant in depth there may be hundreds and thousands of variations
in their basic Chakra nature. An experienced and advanced Truth seeker, who has a broad minded positive approach to all the meditation techniques/ methods can guide the earnest seekers with the most suitable method. For this the seeker has to co operate with his guide by revealing his major likes and dislikes; his habits and hobbies; the incidents that triggered spiritual interest; his views and feelings about different spiritual books and spiritual masters (like Sri Ramakrishna Paramahansa, Sri Ramana Maharshi, Jiddu Krishna Murthy, Rajaneesh, Swami Sivananda, Swami Satyananda Saraswathi, Paramhansa Yogananda, Ramachandraji, Swami Vivekananda, Swami Rama, Shirdhi Saibaba, Sri Sathya Saibaba, Nisargadatta maharaj, etc to name few) to whom he was exposed through direct contact or through their books. Once the guide understands seekers stage and he advises the most suitable practices, then surely the progress will be rapid.

1. Root chakra - earning oriented either positively or negatively.
2. Swadhisthana chakra - pleasure seeking nature positively or negatively.
3. Navel chakra - Egoistic and power seeking nature.
4. Heart (anahata) chakra - more of love, compassion and sensitive nature.
5. Throat chakra - more of purity and morality nature.
6. Brow chakra - beyond duality nature.
7. Shasrara - we can not call it as a chakra, it is Visvatma, Universal Being.
